Rarity as a form of love

Редкость как форма любви

(On the meaning of collecting and the story of one purchase)

In reality, we are searching for echoes of love — the energy with which items were created, and with which they are chosen again.

Once, a client approached us — he was looking for a 1990 Cartier Tank watch.
"That's the year I left my hometown," he said. "I want to wear something that reminds me where I came from."

We searched for a long time. Paris, Tokyo, Geneva.
And suddenly — an archived batch from an old dealer on the Riviera: a watch with its original box, engraving, and the 1990 receipt.
When we opened the set, everything matched: the leather color, the date, the character.
He said, "I feel like I've got that year back again."

For us, this is more than just a sale.
It's a moment of connection: a person and an item that continues their story.
Each such instance reminds us that rarity isn't about price,
but about the convergence of destinies.
